Most people walk by this place and never know there is a monument just a few feet from the trail. Look for this spot about 8 miles into the hike. David Murdock (owns 98% of the island of Lana'i) wrote a beautiful poem and had it placed on a monument here. A tribute to the incredible pristine beauty of this amazing Hawaiian Island.
