The Hawaiian Stilt (or Ae'o) is considered an indigenous Hawaii bird. Unfortunately, it is also considered to be endangered. The Ae'o is a sriking bird with it's black and white body and long pink/red legs. They can be seen on the major islands in Hawaii in select locations near brackish or salt water habitats. This bird was photographed on the island of Lana'i. The watermark is for webstore security and will not appear on purchased prints.
